ESTIMATED UPFRONT COST FOR BUYER’S PRIOR TO CLOSING
1.) EARNEST MONEY: When we find your Dream home, and the Seller accepts your offer you will then need to make the Earnest Money Deposit. Earnest money will secure the contract at that point and let the seller know you are serious. Earnest money can range anywhere from $500.00 and up depending on the price of the home. (The HOLDER of the EM is usually the Closing Attorney)
2.) HOME INSPECTION: We recommend you have an Independent Home Inspection on ALL property, Both NEW CONSTRUCTION & RESALE. Price will range from $350 and up based on the square footage of the home. (Home Inspections are optional)
3.) APPRAISAL: The appraisals are ordered by the mortgage company and paid by Buyer’s. The appraisal report will have the value of the home as of that date and why. The appraisal will range anywhere from $525.00 and up based on the square footage of the home and the company hired.
4.) HOMEOWNERS HAZARD INSURANCE: Insurance is required to be paid in full prior to your closing date. Contact your/or a few agents for a FREE quote.
